The Central and Western District Council's food, environment & hygiene committee have declared an extended grace period of 6 months to local vendors. The next meeting will take place in early July 2010 where ILoveHongKong will personally present the petition to The Council. Help to protect outdoor dining in Central and Sheung Wan. Here at ILoveHongKong.hk, we feel strongly that Hong Kong needs more alfresco dining locations and that the recent ruling by the Central and Western District Council to ban outdoor dining in public open spaces in Central and Sheung Wan is absolutely the wrong decision to make for our city.
